Karachi: Former online content editor of Samaa TV and senior female journalist Sadaf Akhtar killed in Karachi. According to the reports, the incident of her murder happened in her home, situated in PIB Colony Karachi. Sadaf Akhtar was alone at the ground floor of her home, while her aged father was on the upper floor of house. She was murdered on Wednesday morning when her both the little daughters were at school. When her father arrived on ground floor, he found her dead. Attack with rod on her forehead had become a reason of her death.
According to the reports of police, her home servants Nadeem and Nafeesa are missing after her murder and possibly they have killed Sadaf Akhtar. Both the Nadeem and Nafeesa are husband and wife, and they have been appointed for job few months ago. The victim’s husband died seven years ago, and she lived with her father and two daughters. She has been buried in Army graveyard after Namaz e Janaza, attended by her former colleagues and relatives. Police has started further investigations in this case and searching of both the servants is continued.
It is to be noted that brother of Sadaf Akhtar is on-duty officer of Pakistan Navy and working as a Director in Bahria Foundation.
