The 49-years old columnist was born on June 12, 1965 in Murree, Pakistan as he is the youngest son of son of Muhammad Sajawal Abbasi (Late). He completed his matriculation from Sir Syed School Rawalpindi and did his intermediated from Government College Asghar Mall. Ansar Abbasi holds a Masters degree in Journalism and Broadcasting as he completed his masters from Balochistan University, Quetta as well as he also contains another Masters degree which he got from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
