The film Dukhtar which has already make success buzzes in the industry based on a story of mother who tries to save her daughter from an arranged marriage to a tribal leader.
A nail-biting thriller film Dukhtar has directed and written by Afia Nathaniel who focused human rights issue child marriages. Afia Nathaniel has come up with a sensitive issue as she was motivated by a true story about a mother who fled with her two daughters by leaving her husband from the tribal areas of Pakistan in order to save her daughters from this child marriage issue. Dukhtar is a first road-trip thriller film of Pakistan which is shot in the strange landscapes of the northern areas.
The cast of Dukhtar includes top-notch actors of Pakistan such as Mohib Mirza, Samina Ahmad, Samiya Mumtaz, Saleha Aref, Ajab Gul, Asif Khan, Adnan Shah Tipu, Abdullah Jaan and Omair Rana.
