Arif NizamiOne of the most senior journalists and news analyst of Pakistan Arif Nizami has become CEO of Channel 24. Arif Nizami has taken over the charge of head of newly started current affair channel, after the resignation of Mohsin Naqvi, former CEO of the channel. The news was previously circulating in the media industry that the directors of Channel 24 have decided to bring some change and that is why it is necessary to change the top management of the channel.

Arif Nizami is already co-hosting a current affairs program named as “Debate News Analysis”, on Channel 24. He is considered as one of the most senior journalists and honorable personality of the media industry. He had served many newspapers of Pakistan as a editor, including Nawa-e-Waqt, The Nation and Pakistan Today. Arif Nizami had also hosted the current affairs program on Samaa TV.  His father Hameed Nizami was also a senior journalist of Pakistan and founder of daily Nawa-e-Waqt.

 It is to be noted that the Channel 24 is Pakistan’s first current affair channel, which is owned by the President of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association and famous builder Ejaz Gohar.
