Karachi: The 3 professors of Karachi University named as Dr Tahir Masood, Dr Shakeel Auj and Professor Zakaria Sajid have been awarded Tamgha e Imtiaz for their significant contributions in the field of education. The Vice Chancellor of Karachi University Dr Mohammad Qaiser congratulated to these 3 teachers for receiving Tamgha e Imtiaz by President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain.
Vice Chancellor Dr Mohammad Qaiser said that it is an honor for us that our teachers have been privileged with this great award as they truly deserves for Tamgha e Imtiaz who have been providing their services in Karachi University since many years. On the event of Independence Day, Mamnoon Hussain presented Tamgha e Imtiaz to Tahir Masood, Dr Shakeel Auj and Professor Zikarya Sajid and appreciated their efforts and hard works in the field of teaching as they have played a vital role in the training of youth.
Professor Tahir Masood is the chairman of Mass Communication Department of Karachi University as he is also an author who has written 10 books up till now. Dr Shakeel Auj is the Dean of Islamic Studies’ faculty and he has also penned different books on different topics. Professor Zakaria is playing an important role to promote journalism in the country since many years as well as he is known as the founder of Pakistan Press Institute too.
