He has joined City 42 TV Channel as Executive Director News and Group News Head for City News Network. He has recently resigned from Bol News as Senior Executive Vice President. Ansar Ali Naqvi had completed his graduation in 1994 from Sindh University, Jamshoro. He had started his journalism career in 1988 from Daily Safeer, Hyderabad and worked as a correspondent in very aggressive political environment. He had joined The News International, as a Bureau Chief for Sindh in 1991 and worked there till April 2002.
In 2002, Ansar Ali Naqvi had joined Geo News as Outstation Reporter, Hyderabad and had been promoted to several key positions in the channel including Senior Assignment Editor, Senior Producer, Executive Producer, Input Head and Controller News. In February 2015, Syed Ansar Ali Naqvi left Geo News after his association with the organization for 24 years and joined Bol News as Senior Executive Vice President.
