Fareed KhanKarachi: For paying tribute to late Pakistani comedian Fareed Khan, CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken an initiative to financially support his widow. According to the media reports, the Media Advisor of CM Punjab, Imran Goraya has handed over a cheque of Rs.1,000,000 to the widow of Fareed Khan on Monday. While meeting the family of late comedian Fareed Khan, Imran Goraya said that the CM Punjab had noticed the news of Fareed Khan’s illness and had announced to bear all the expenses of his treatment, but Fareed Khan had left us just after that announcement.

“Farid Khan was an outstanding artist who served the people through his unique style of satire and comedy.” said CM Advisor Imran Goraya.

Imran Goraya also said that the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has specially send him to Karachi for delivering this financial aid. He also showed his grief and sorrow on the death of Fareed Khan and said that it is a big loss of Pakistani showbiz industry. Imran Goraya also ensured that the educational needs of Fareed Khan’s children and other necessities of life would be provided to his family.

It is to be noted that the famous comedian Fareed Khan was died on 1st of August, while suffering from Kidney and cancer diseases.
