Islamabad: The well-known face of Dunya TV Sami Ibrahim has left the channel due to the differences with the owner of channel. According to the reports, Sami Ibrahim, the host of program Top Story on Dunya News told that he had given his resignation letter on 12th of July which has become expired now after 30 days.
According to the sources, Rehman Azhar, the newscaster of Dunya TV will host new program named as Follow-up in place of famous program of Dunya TV “Top Story” which was hosted by Sami Ibrahim for more than one year. It is pertinent to highlight here that two of the media channels have already offered to anchor Sami Ibrahim which has not revealed yet by Mr. Sami as he is requested not to mention the names of channels. Anchor Sami Ibrahim has worked in several talks shows as an analyst as well as he has an extensive experience in journalism as he has remained a part of several newspapers.
Senior Analyst, journalist and anchor Sami Ibrahim joined Dunya TV in the year 2011 as the head of political and international affairs. Before anchoring of program Top Story, Mr. Sami has also co-hosted a morning show at Dunya TV for one year named as “Khabar Yah Hai”.
