Senior journalist Younas Butt had passed away on Wednesday. According to the reports of daily Jang Newspaper, Younas Butt died on Wednesday after short illness in Karachi. Namaz e Janaza of senior journalist Younas Butt was held in Jamia Masjid Suffa, Federal B Area, Karachi and he was buried in Essa Nagri Graveyard, in Karachi. Younas Butt was considered amongst the experienced journalist of print media industry and he had associated with Jang Group of Newspaper from longtime. He had also worked for weekly Akhbar e Jehan as a Joint Editor for a long time.
Many popular social activists and journalist of the country have attended funeral ceremony of senior journalists Younas Butt including Chairman of Jang Group and Editor In-Chief of Akhbar e Jehan Mir Javed ur Rehman, Anwar Alegi, Khalid Farshori, Abdul Rafiq, Syed Babar Ali, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Tariq Waheed Alvi, Rizwan Siddiqui, Sanobar Khan, Imtiaz Mateen, Mahmood Ahmad Khan, Junaid Rizvi, Abdul Wasee Qureshi and Athar Javed Yousfi of Pakistan Film and TV Journalists Association. Many other people from different walks of life also attended his funeral ceremony.
All the journalists and social activists have showed their grief and sorrow on death of Younas Butt and prayed that may Allah rest his soul in peace.
