Journalist Izhar Hasan Burney died in the age of 83, he died on Tuesday April 22, 2014 journalist died of coma and he remained in coma almost 4 months he died at his home. His funeral prayer was held on yesterday. He was the hardest working man of media. He had been working until he was able to work. Journalist had two sons and a daughter.
Journalist Izharul Hasan was born in Delhi on June 24 in 1931 in a small town of Uttar Pradesh. After completing his matriculation from his home town and moved to Karachi for further studies. Journalist got his higher education from the University of Karachi. He did several government and private jobs and also did job in radio Pakistan.
In 1958 he joined Dawn and he was associated with the group and he got retired from Dawn in 1991 but he got job as an editor of the groups evening, newspaper, Star and he worked there till 7 years. In 1998 he was associated with the editorial consultant. According to his friends Mr. Burney was a caring nice man and he was hard working too.
