The Government of Pakistan has awarded him with Sitara-i-Imtiaz for his outstanding and remarkable performance in acting. Sitara-i-Imtiaz is given to those people who have contributed to any field with their outstanding work. Salahuddin Tunio is known for his strong role in Dramas. He started his acting career from PTV and contributed for numerous Urdu and Sindhi Dramas. His realistic and exceptional dialogue delivery made him famous quite quickly. He is remembered in his noted role in Urdu Drama ‘Chhoti Si Duniya’. He was also given with a regional award in days of MD PTV Yousuf Beg Mirza. He has also worked in a number of plays at private channels including ‘Jannat’ amd ‘Haweli Ke Bund Darwazay’ on Hum TV. Celebrities congratulated him on winning the award and he well deserved it.
