After short absence from the television industry, famous anchorperson Samia Liaqat has joined Channel 24. Samia Liaqat has joined Channel 24 as an anchorperson and started presenting news on the channel. She had presented first ever news bulletin of Channel 24, with another popular host and anchorperson Masood Raza. Samia Liaqat is now a part of newscaster’s team of Channel 24, consisting of popular and experienced anchorpersons of the media industry. She had announced this news on her Twitter and Facebook profiles that she is now a part of Channel 24.
Samia Liaqat had begun her journalism career from Channel 5, in 2010 as a Copy Writer. After successfully proved himself as a dedicated and hardworking journalist, Samia Liaqat got a chance to join one of the leading news channels of Pakistan, Dawn News in 2012. She had joined as a Copy Editor but soon promoted as a Newscaster.
During her almost 3 years of association with Dawn News television, Samia Liaqat had become face of the channel and covered many national and international stories. From the last few weeks, she was absent from the television screen after leaving Dawn News.
