4th event of Pakistan Media Awards was pleasing to the Samaa Television, as two RJ’s of the channel bagged awards at celebration night. Sulmeen Ansari and Adeel Azhar were declared best RJ’s by the jury members. The Media Awards was held at Karachi Expo Centre on 11th January 2014.
Out of the 18 nominated ones, Samaa channel dominated the night, with its two presenters the winners, from male and female category respectively for RJ. Over the years, since its establishment in year December 2012, Samaa channel has carried a long way.
It has a well developed radio station, allowing transfer of radio network across big cities of the country. The radio programs offer wide genera music with informative packages carrying news element from various disciplines of life. The Rj’s host the program utilizing their skills, engaging more and more participants to listen to them. Efforts of the channel to outreaching the masses are also the factor of success.

For three consecutive years, Pakistan Media Awards are being organized. They aim to recognize and promote media work of Pakistan. With the emergence of powerful media over the time, recognizing young talent through the platform is a means to strengthen the media industry.
