Indian Idol which airs from Sony TV is very famous in Pakistan and very large number of people watches the show. Indian Idol first season was started in 2004 and Abhijeet Sawant won the competition in the final in March, 2005. Till now six seasons of Indian Idol have been aired. Recently Indian Idol Junior was aired from Sony TV.
American Idol was started in 2002 and till now 13 seasons have been completed successfully. It is one of the most hit shows of America.
There is no news till now as when auditions will held for Pakistan Idol.
