Islamabad: A senior anchor person Jameel Farooqui, will join Aaj TV and left Capital TV. He updated this news on his Facebook wall. Jameel used to host the program “Capital Point” on Capital TV. He before associated with some channels among them CNBC, Samaa and Express News during 11 years tenure.
Jameel Farooqui is also a newspaper columnist and set in writing for the well-liked Urdu daily Nawa-i-Waqt. His article Gustakhi Muaaf has been a normal feature in the paper. Jameel Farooqui joined Aaj TV. He was the part of Capital TV as an Anchor person in Islamabad from 19th February 2014 to 27th November 2014. Jameel had a great time with Capital TV but last few months he he had some problem with management. At last he decided to switch channel.
Anchor person Jameel had also working experience with Express TV. He spent almost 8 to 9 months in Express TV then He was offered from Capital TV. Farooqui switched from Express TV. He has changed two channels within one and half years. People like his way of way of expressing the news.
