Lahore: Nasir Muneef Qureshi has been appointed by the upcoming news channel ’92 News’. 92 News is the first High Definition (HD) channel of Pakistan which will provide a unique viewership experience to the audience of the country. The channel is hiring a number of renowned personalities these days.

Nasir has previously worked in ‘Channel 5’ which is owned by ‘Khabrain Group of Newspapers’. He has presented his services at Channel 5 as an anchor.

Mr. Qureshi has a brief career in journalism. However, he has been associated with the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) for a long time. Initially in his career, he served as Inspector General of Punjab Police. Later he presented his services to Sindh Police and Elite Police Force of Punjab as well. He received his higher education from Pakistan College of Law Lahore.

During his service as Additional Superintendent (ASP) in Sargodha Police, he was sent to jail on allegations of killing a 23 year old citizen over a car parking issue.
