According to the sources, Majid Jahangir is living in two room apartment in Karachi, with bad health conditions and he is paralyzed with right hand. According to the reports of media, Sharmila Farooqi asked health conditions of Majid Jahangir during her visit to his home. While handing over a cheque for financial aid of Majid Jahangir, Sharmila Farooqi said that Majid Jahangir had ruled the hearts of viewers and brightened the name of Pakistan through his acting. She also added that Majid Jahangir is an asset of Pakistan and culture department will never leave famous artists in difficult situations alone.
