Mahira Khan’s who recently worked with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’ has signed ‘Verna’ which is a movie by Shoaib Mansoor, who is known for reviving the film industry in Pakistan. Mahira Khan also worked in Shoaib Mansoor’s film ‘Bol’ after which she become a famous celebrity in Pakistan.
Mahira Khan said it was difficult to work with a 7 people crew after working with 200 people crew in India, but she said I didn’t knew why I loved doing this movie.
Mahira Khan said that when she saw the dialogues ‘I wanted my voice to echo these lines’. She said it was the first time that Shoaib Mansoor gave the full script to someone.
Shoaib Mansoor and the whole film crew is silent about the movie except that the movie is about empowerment of women.
