Sumbul IqbalKarachi: Legendry actress Sumbul Talat is no more as she has passed away in Texas, United States at the age of 67. According to the details, actress Sumbul Talat who started her career in the era of black and white in 1970 with drama serial “Laila Majjnu” was suffering from cancer as she was diagnosed of cancer 6 months ago. She has left three children and a husband and was buried at Texas.

Late actress Sumbul Talat had worked in several dramas such as Shehzori, Aakhri Chattan, Suraj Ka Daagh, Doraha and Gul-e-Jaan in 1970’s and 1980’s as well as she had also worked as a lead actress in two movies named as Ashna and Sangtarash but film Sangtarash could not be released. She got married in 1980 with famous artist Talat Iqbal and was migrated with her family to United States in 1999.Iqbal Talat was also known as famous Pakistani hero who made his debut in Pakistani film Aag aur Aansoo in 1960. Her daughter Somi Talat has also appeared as child artist in television dramas in 1990.

Sambul Iqbal was born in Karachi on December 16, 1953 and was belong to a Christian Family but converted into Islam after her marriage. She died on September 10, 2014 in Carrollton, Texas.
