From the last two decades, media has become an important part of our lives. Due to rapidly increasing television channels all around the world and latest technology, people have become addicted of watching latest updates and happenings around the world. Despite of many advantages of media, it has some very dangerous disadvantages as well.
The main disadvantage of media is that from the past 15 years, international media is continuously alarming the people from different threats. Every year, they bring new threat which causes uncertainty and panic in the whole world.
Below are the threats alarms which have been given by the international media:
Y2K
Y2K problem, which is also known as Millennium Bug was a problem for both the digital and non-digital data storage situations and documentations. International media raised this issue as the biggest problem in the year 2000.
Anthrax
In 2001, international media raised the issue of acute disease called as “Anthrax”, and shown that the disease will kill everybody in the entire world.
West Nile Virus
