Shagufta Ejaz who is known as the versatile actress of Pakistani drama industry had another profession before joining media. Shagufta Ejaz has told while talking in a program of private channel that she was Air-hostess in an airline before stepped into media industry as her father worked in air force. She also told that she has been introduced by the TV director Kazim Pasha in media.
The 54-years old TV actress is currently working in in ARY Digital’s funny Drama Dugdugi along with Nausheen Shah, Durdana Butt, Azfar Rehman. There is a long list of dramas in which Shagufta Ejaz has showed her talent and acting skills as some of her famous dramas are Thora Saath Chahiye, Khala Kulsum Ka Kumba, Aansoo, Pyari Shammo, Meray Qatil Meray Dildar, Susraal Kay Rang Anokhay. She started her career in 1989 when she was only 18 years old with drama serial Jangloos at PTV as she has seen working in the dramas of every channel.
Talented actress Shagufta Ejaz also spoke about current political situation of Pakistan during this show while saying that both political parties have to solve this issue through negotiations. In reply to a question she told that her favorite singer is Munni Begum and she also sang a song on the request of the host Nouman Ijaz in the show.
