Karachi: The Karachi Press Club (KPC) has asked Imran Khan to stop his angry workers from attacking Geo News’ office and journalists through a written letter as they have been showing their confronting from Geo TV since the very first day of their sits-in in Islamabad. The letter was written by the KPC Secretary in which he said that these types of acts of your workers are disgracing your name as well as our name too.
Secretary Karachi Press said that in his letter to Imran Khan that you are linked with Karachi Press Club as you are the only politician who is life member of the KPC for 22 years but your party is not holding the expression of freedom. It was also said in this letter that PTI’s workers are doing violent acts as they are also doing misbehaving with reporters and cameramen due to which Imran khan is losing his reputation of a fair sportsman. PTI’s workers are also disobeying the promise of Imran Khan which he made during initial days of Azadi March to keep their protest in peaceful manner, added.
KPC Secretary further said that in letter that these types of tactics will not work against culprits as some political parties in the past who followed these terror strategies against media had finally lost their reputation. Lastly it is also said that KPC is looking for an apology to injured reporters and cameramen from Imran Khan on these unpleasant incidents.
