journalist KidnappedQuetta: Local journalist of Quetta Afzal Mughal has been kidnapped. According to the sources of Pakistani media industry, Afzal Mughal was kidnapped from his house, when around 8 masked militants broke the door of his house and beats him badly, and drive away after throwing him in the vehicle. Afzal Mughal is associated with journalism from the last 10 years. He was working as a reporter for Daily Mashriq Newspaper and online new agency. He was kidnapped at mid night of Monday and Tuesday from Jinnah Town Quetta. After 15 hours of this incident, Afzal Mughal has been released and unknown people dropped him outside his home.

While talking to media after release, Afzal told that he had been taken to unfamiliar place and a group of people asked him hundreds of questions regarding his family, profession, personal life and phone calls which he had received from the banned outfits. He told that it is his duty to receive and make phone calls to everyone either criminals or any one. After this incident, Balochistan Union of Journalists have strongly condemned this act and asked the forces to immediately arrest people involve in this.

It is to be noted that Pakistan is included in the list of countries where journalists face many problems during professional duties and many journalists have been killed in the last few years.
