London: Gharida Farooqi was titled as a Daring Daughter of Pakistan by Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) leader, Altaf Hussain. Ms Farooqui has become the first female journalist to report from the cutting edge in North Waziristan Agency NWA where Pakistani armed forces are encountering local and foreign militants.
