Fareeha IdreesFamous anchorperson and Journalist Fareeha Idrees joins Abb Takk TV. She was previously working in Waqt News and hosted a prime time program “8 PM with Fareeha Idrees”. She gave one month leaving notice to Waqt News management that will expire on April 4 and will join Abb Takk team from April 6. She will be replacing Jasmeen Manzoor’s vacancy who has joined upcoming BOL Channel.

Fareeha Idrees along with her producer Atif, researcher and coordinator Rizwan Yousaf and content producer Raja Rizwan have quitted their jobs and are all ready to work at Abb Takk TV.

Famous Columnist Fareeha stepped into Journalistic career from a widely read women’s magazine in United Kingdom. She has also worked for The Guardian, BBC, Channel 4, The Daily Mirror. She started her career with the media industry in 2000. She has comprehensively wrote for many publications in Pakistan and Europe. She has her postgraduate in Broadcast and print Journalism from university of Westminster, UK. She also served as the spokesperson of Muslim Council of Britain for some time.

She has previously linked with CNBC Pakistan as Bureau Chief and did a show “Islamabad Sey”. Before joining Waqt News she was working for Samaa TV and hosted a popular show “News Beat”.
