Dr. Nauman Hamid Niaz has been fired from his position as Director Sports of PTVC. By profession he is a doctor but is known for his contribution and work in the field of Journalism and Cricket.

A office order is in circulation on social media in which Abdur Rashid Director Administration & Personnel posted him as ‘Officer on Special Duty’, which in other words means he has been fired from the position of Director Sports.

Recently he came into spotlight after he criticized Misbah ul Haque performance. A blog was published in ‘The Nation’ against him making allegations on him and his ability. Many ex PTV staff also raised questions on his ability for the position.

In past he has served as a Chief Selector for Punjab Board, Media Manager of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and was an Associate Manager of Pakistan Cricket Team. Though his professional studies were in the field of medical but he has been in PTV since 1996.
