The famous journalists of Pakistan Ansar Abbasi and Talat Hussain are facing life threats as they both are receiving messages and calls from unknown numbers and email addresses. Ansar Abbasi and Talat Hussain have also informed others through their tweets about receiving these types of threats. Senior Journalist Ansar Abbasi is receiving several threats from last 1 year as well as Talat Hussain has recently been targeted for life threats.
The investigative editor of The News International newspaper Ansar Abbasi also demanded to F.I.A for inquiry as he has informed to Interior Ministry too. Anar Abbasi has told that he received a threat via email address Khaki@safe-mail.net at his official account in which serious warning has been given to him while saying that keep your attitude right. It is pertinent to mention here that Ansar Abbasi is the one in the media who disagreed with the controversial statement of Army Chief General Raheel as well as he also revealed Pervez Musharraf. However, Ansar Abbasi has provided all emails and related messages to the F.I.A cyber wings.
On the other hand, senior journalist, current affairs analyst and columnist Syed Talat Hussain said that analysis of the situation and PTI’s policy may be the main reason of receiving life threats. He has also showed mobile numbers from which he is receiving physical beating threats. The tweets of both journalists are as fallows in this regard.
